Travel to & from Scilly

You’ll probably be familiar with travel to and from Scilly having flown on Skybus or sailed on the Scillonian.  Both services are operated by the Isles of Scilly Steamship Company.

To check availability, make bookings or for other general enquiries you can contact the Travel Centre on 0845 7105555 or visit their website www.islesofscilly-travel.co.uk

Each year you are entitled to a travel grant that can be used to help with the cost of travel to and from Scilly.  Further information about this can be found on our Funding page.

Disruption due to poor weather isn’t unusual so it pays to give some thought to what you’ll do if you travel to Penzance or an airport only to find you can’t get back to Scilly.  This can be very frustrating as well as potentially expensive so it pays to be prepared.

Remember that by being a member of the Isles of Scilly Steamship Company Travel Club you are able to get discounts.  Important travel information is also posted on Twitter and Facebook, you may find it helpful to keep an eye on these when you wish to travel.

When travelling remember to allow plenty of time for checking in and that there is a strict baggage allowance on the planes.
